Requirements
Grade12
NQF Level 6 (National Diploma) in one of these qualifications (Safety Management/Built Environment/Facilities Management)
No working experience, graduate in search of internship to gain experience
Not have participated previously in any formal employment or internship/learnership programme
Be a South African citizen
Must be unemployed graduate under the age of 35
Skills Development And Training Focus Areas
Implementing OHS management plan
Implementing Facilities management plan
Administering claims for compensation with regard to injuries on duty and occupational diseases.
Compliance with the building legislation
Compliance with OHS Act and Regulations
Reporting accidents to the Department of Labour
Compliance with Service Level Agreements on all contractors
Medical Surveillance Programme
Attending specification and evaluation committee meetings
Submitting quotations using e-workflow
Submitting requests for Purchase Orders and invoices for approval to Finance for payments
