Maintenance Support
Assist artisans with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on milling equipment (e.g. rollers, sifters, conveyors, elevators)
Support breakdown repairs to minimize production downtime
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as: Cleaning of machinery Lubrication of moving parts Assisting with part replacements
Plant Operations Support
Help maintain continuous plant operation by responding quickly to maintenance requests
Support shutdowns and start-ups of milling lines
Assist in identifying early signs of equipment failure
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) requirements
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Close out safety job cards and report hazards immediately
Comply with food safety standards (GMP & HACCP)
Housekeeping (5S)
Maintain high housekeeping standards in: Workshop Stores Production areas
Ensure tools and materials are stored correctly and safely
Stores & Materials Handling
Assist with issuing and receiving of maintenance spares
Ensure proper handling of parts to prevent contamination (critical in food production)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Maintenance job card closure rate
Equipment downtime reduction support
5S audit scores
Safety compliance (zero incidents)
Response time to breakdowns
