Main Purpose of the Job
Pam Golding Properties is looking to partner with people who are ambitious, driven by success, motivated by reward and able to work to targets to join our successful Westville/ Pinetown franchise. We are interested in recruiting Estate Agents who are determined, and persistent, whilst having an eye for attention to detail, sociable and outgoing, with integrity beyond reproach. The role is about facilitation of successful marketing resulting in concluding successful property transactions and continued growth of market share. The successful applicant will have a track record of outstanding customer service commensurate with that of the Pam Golding Properties brand.

Must live in the Westville/ Pinetown area and must have a valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Collect information about properties and enrich your data base (lead generation);
Canvas properties to sell;
Engage with sellers and must be able to talk knowledgably about their property and area;
Arrange for photography and home staging;
Possess a through working knowledge of the area and the prevailing trends of the real estate industry in the area;
Evaluation – able to apply sound principles when estimating the value of a property;
Organize and attend show days;
The ability to secure exclusive mandates and knowledgeably be able to talk about home pricing;
Be familiar with developing and presenting a marketing plan for a property;
Represent the seller in negotiations with potential buyers;
Monitor sales and liaise with all stakeholders including mortgage brokers, conveyancers, and other estate agents;
Keep abreast of trends in the local residential property market as well as national trends which impact on the market.

Education & Experience
Matric;
Possess a valid Intern Fidelity Fund Certificate and have completed all stipulated PPRA educational and CPD requirements or alternatively must be in a position to apply for a FFC;
Must be in possession of valid driver’s license and your own reliable transport;
Must live the Westville or Pinetown area and preferably in the specific area of operation;
Must have your own laptop or tablet and cell phone;
Must be able to sustain yourself financially for 6 to 8 months before commission revenue flows.
 

Requirements to become a Full Status Agent:

Must qualify within 18 months of becoming an Intern or Candidate Property Practitioner;
Mentored by an experienced property practitioner;
Complete a Log Book;
Complete the Real Estate NQF 4 qualification successfully;
Write the PDE exam as stipulated by the PPRA.
Knowledge & Skills Required
Articulate with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken;
Must be digitally savvy and comfortable doing business with your mobile phone or device;
Computer literate with a sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite;
Must be comfortable with social media and have sound knowledge of using WhatsApp as a marketing tool.
