About the role
As a Stock & Admin Assistant, you will support the Admin / Operations Manager with back-of-house store administration, stock control, and asset management. This role plays a key part in reducing risk, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.
You will be responsible for supporting store controls and ensuring that all iStore policies, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed.
Key responsibilities
Capture and process all stock movements accurately
Receive, transfer, and dispatch stock in line with procedures
Assist with stock counts, cycle counts, and audits
Maintain accurate asset registers and supporting documentation
Identify and escalate stock variances and risks timeously
Maintain organised, audit-ready admin records
Support compliance with retail controls and company policies
Assist with general back-of-house store administration
Minimum requirements
Completed Matric (tertiary qualification advantageous)
2+ year administrative experience in a retail environment
Exposure to stock control, inventory, or retail administration
Basic computer literacy and comfort working on systems
