General Worker – Rainbow Chicken

Purpose of the role:

Rainbow Chicken is actively on the lookout for a general worker to provide support on general production requirements to ensure effective running of the business.

Qualification & Experience:

Grade 12 (or equivalent literacy and numeric level)
0 – 6 months experience in the manufacturing environment
Roles & Responsibilities:

Production

To ensure all required resources are available in line with production requirement.
To report any mechanical/electrical issues to the Control Room/ Supervisor that may affect the smooth running of the plant.
Accurately record any data required for production analysis e.g. tipping logs
To respond to manual production bottlenecks e.g. clearing choked elevators
Conduct visual checks e.g., availability of raw material and report any deviation to the control room/ supervisor
To ensure compliance with applicable work instructions and procedures
To perform any reasonable task as requested by the control room/supervisor
To perform daily stock take duties
