Job Description
1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Hyundai Automotive South Africa Pty Ltd is looking for a Stock controller role is that will effectively manage and control inbound & outbound stock internally. The successful incumbent will be responsible for delivering controller support in order to process vehicle stock transactions accurately and timeously through the execution of predefined work objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures.

Specific Role Responsibilities
Process 

Capture stock data on system to ensure availability of stock to customers.  
Check stock levels constantly and order in time to ensure availability of stock to customers/ load body builders and carriers. 
Deliver on agreed performance targets according to set procedures and service level agreements. 
Ensure stock levels are maintained for availability purposes to be distributed to internal and external customers. 
Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.  
Identify and apply known solutions to operational challenges and escalate unresolved issues.
Record and report on work activities to provide timely and accurate information for decision making in area of accountability. 
Finance 

Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce unnecessary delays in achieving goals of stock distribution. 
Client 

Deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to meet or exceed customers’ expectations in the business. 
People 

Own up and live up to company values.
Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills.

Qualifications and Experience
Matric/Grade12 
Certificate/Diploma in Inventory Management or Supply Chain.
1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment 
Skills and Personal Attributes
 

Knowledge and proficient organizational skills
Knowledge and understanding of inventory management
Ability to apply the essential ethics and values in the workplace that will support this business’s strategic intent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). 
Ability to trouble-shoot and resolve issues that may arise 
Movement of vehicles ( Passenger & Light Trucks )
Stock Yard management processes.
Vehicle damage checks – inbound and outbound stk
IMS software system usage skills
