Main purpose
As a Retail & Trade Marketing Graduate, you will learn the ropes of how to effectively drive and implement effective marketing plans across a retail fleet and key wholesale partners to effectively drive a brand successfully in market.  You will be exposed to strategy development, campaign planning and implementation, visual merchandising principles and management, staff product training, activations and more. You will learn to work cross collaboratively with clear KPI’s both from a brand building and commercial impact point of view.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 1: TRADE MARKETING EXECUTION SUPPORT

Assist in the implementation of trade marketing strategies and seasonal plans.
Support campaign rollouts across retail and wholesale channels.
Track execution timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Coordinate with internal teams to align deliverables
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 2: RETAIL & WHOLESALE SUPPORT

Support marketing communication with retail and wholesale partners.
Assist in coordinating in-store promotions and activations execution requirements with the marketing operations team.
Monitor execution feedback and adapt plans accordingly
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 3: POINT OF SALE (POS) CO-ORDINATION

Coordinate production, ordering, and distribution of POS materials.
Align with Marketing Ops to ensure POS materials are delivered on time and in full to the stores and partners
Track stock levels and reorders of POS assets where necessary
Support adaptation of global POS for local market needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 4: VISUAL MERCHANDISING (VM) SUPPORT

Assist in creation briefing of VM guidelines with the Group VM Specialist for successful implementation
Distribute VM toolkits and campaign briefs to Marketing Ops teams.
Collate VM execution feedback and store images and make recommendations
Support VM training coordination and communication
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 5: PRODUCT TRAINING
Assist in developing and distributing training materials.
Coordinate training schedules with Marketing Operations.
Track training participation, completion and impact
Maintain training content libraries.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 6: CONSUMER PROMOTIONS EXECUTION

Support rollout of promotions and sales incentive programs.
Coordinate timelines, materials, and communication for promotions.
Track execution across stores and partners with Marketing Ops
Assist with post-promotion reporting.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 7: MARKET & PERFORMANCE REPORTING

Collect and compile data on campaign performance.
Track competitor activity and in-store trends.
Support preparation of reports and presentations.
Maintain reporting templates and trackers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 8: EVENTS & ACTIVATIONS SUPPORT

Assist in planning and coordinating trade shows and events.
Support logistics, materials, and setup.
Ensure all branding and assets are prepared and delivered.
Capture event feedback and results.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 9: ADMINISTRATION & BUDGET SUPPORT

Support budget tracking and PO management.
Maintain records of spend and invoices.
Assist in reconciling campaign costs.
Ensure documentation is up to date..
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 10: CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

Liaise with Brand teams, Retail, Sales, and Marketing Operations teams.
Ensure smooth communication of campaign requirements.
Follow up on deliverables across departments.
Support alignment of timelines and outputs.

Stay informed about industry trends, retail practices, and new trade marketing strategies.
Continuously bring fresh ideas and innovations to the trade marketing team to stay competitive in the market.
