JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:    Efficiently manage inventory accuracy and shipping preparation while coordinating safe vehicle logistics and inter-departmental communication to streamline operational workflow.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
•    Strictly adhere to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles for all stock movements
•    Execute precise picking protocols, ensuring all goods are securely wrapped, packed, and labelled in strict accordance with customer and supplier specifications.
•    Execute precise picking and storage protocols for production orders in designated areas, following a predetermined sequence by size, type, or product code. 
•    Conduct thorough inspection of all outbound goods to ensure zero-defect shipping, preventing any damaged or compromised products from reaching the customer 
•    Liaise proactively with the despatch clerk to investigate and rectify inventory discrepancies or shipping queries, ensuring rapid resolution and data integrity.
•    Maintain a professional workspace by ensuring the warehouse and all designated work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping standards.
•    Actively participate in periodic stocktakes and cycle counting
Minimum Requirements
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Grade 12

EXPERIENCE:
•    Picking and packing preferred
•    Forklift Licence (advantageous)
•    Drivers Licence (advantageous)
