Full job description
Babylonstoren has an exciting opportunity for a Food Technologist Intern to join us for a year-long internship. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual who can take initiative and assist with new product development and factory trials. This includes ensuring that all required documentation for new products is completed accurately and timeously.
Requirements
A BSc degree or National Diploma in Food Technology or Food Science.
Experience in RTE (ready-to-eat) product development will be advantageous.
Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
Strong administrative skills.
Thorough and detail-orientated.
Able to work well in a diverse team.
Responsibilities
Conduct product research and development.
Perform kitchen and factory trials.
Develop product specifications.
Map out process flows.
Conduct process audits.
Ensure legal compliance.
Conduct shelf-life studies.
