Minimum

Requirements:

Grade 12
Relevant Degree / B-Tech in Policing / Forensic & Investigative Auditing / Law Enforcement on NQF level 7
Basic Training Qualification (Metro Police Diploma) will be an added advantage
Valid Driver's License (At least code B)
No Criminal Record or illicit activity recorded
Firearm Proficiency
Computer skills required
8 years relevant management experience, with 2 or more years' experience in investigation

Core

Responsibilities:

Manage the Internal Affairs Section and its operations
Manage the investigations procedure
Manage prioritisation of reported cases
Manage the reputation and integrity of COE
Manage personnel and performance within the sub-section
Ensure smooth and productive running of operations within Internal Affairs section
Management of Domestic Violence complaints and incidents according to the Domestic Violence Act
Coordinate and participate in Ad-hoc / Special Law-Enforcement and Crime Prevention operations

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.
