Welcome to the BXE Internship Program — a national initiative created to upskill South African youth and school leavers through practical experience, hands-on training, and real career opportunities in the digital economy. By enrolling in this program, you agree to the following terms and conditions and commit to upholding the values of professionalism, ethical conduct, and respect for fellow team members and clients.

To qualify for the BXE Internship Program, you must:

Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
Be aged 18–28 years
Be unemployed or a recent school leaver
Commit to attending all training and work sessions
Be able to work remotely or from a designated training centre

Training Provided
Interns will receive free, hands-on training in the following:

 
Basics of HTML & CSS (Web Fundamentals)
Introduction to SQL & Database Management
CRM Systems: Setup, Client Support & Admin
Affiliate Marketing & Digital Sales
Business Tools: Email Campaigns, Social Media, SMS Marketing

 

Work Experience
Interns will:

 
Assist with real-world support tickets and CRM onboarding
Participate in marketing and business development tasks
Engage in supervised projects related to BXN and partner clients
Represent the BXE brand professionally
Successful interns may be offered part-time or full-time roles in the BXN ecosystem or introduced to paying freelance opportunities.

 

Compensation
This is a stipend-based internship. While the training is free, the following applies:

 
A monthly stipend of R1,000 – R3,000 may be provided based on performance and attendance above 60% of KPI
Interns who refer businesses to the BXE Affiliate Program will earn commissions as per the affiliate structure:

60% on first sale
30% recurring commission
10% on team referrals
Note: Your full earning potential and commission opportunities will be explained in detail during training.

5. Expectations & Conduct
Interns must:

 
Attend all scheduled training sessions
Submit all assigned tasks by due dates
Maintain professional behavior during communications and work
Protect client and system data under POPIA
Misconduct, persistent absence, or breach of policies may lead to immediate dismissal from the program.

6. Equipment & Access
Interns must have access to:

 
A smartphone and/or computer
Stable internet connection
Email and WhatsApp (for communication and training updates)
Limited support may be provided for data/airtime where feasible.

7. Certification
Interns who complete the program successfully will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Reference Letter from BXE.

8. Termination
BXE reserves the right to terminate participation for:

 
Inactivity (missing 2+ sessions without valid reason)
Breach of conduct
Fraudulent or unethical behavior
Interns may withdraw voluntarily by submitting written notice.

9. Disclaimer & Indemnity
BXE is not liable for job placement post-program. While opportunities will be made available to outstanding candidates, continuation into paid roles is based on merit and business needs.

Interns agree to hold BXE harmless against any claims or costs arising from misrepresentation, data misuse, or breach of this agreement.
