About the job
Role Purpose:
To ensure all required resources are available in line with production requirements.
To be able to follow FIFO rules when doing stock rotation from warehouse.
To perform reasonable tasks/ duties as requested by the control room. supervisor.
To ensure compliance with applicable work instructions and procedures
Accurately record any data required for production analysis.
Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeric level
Required Experience:
Must have at least 1 year working experience in this industry or a similar type of role
It would be preferable for candidates to have previous experience in a Feed Mill environment
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Physically fit – able to carry 25 – 50kg bags
High level of honesty and integrity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Shift work and overtime
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Clear criminal record
Willing to work in dust and hot environment
Willing to work shifts and public holidays
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Complete jobs and assist in meeting daily production targets
Ensure that the work area is clean and hygienic at all times
Perform all job tasks with accuracy and speed
Be an integral part of a high performance team
Comply with all Health and Safety Standards
Comply with Product Quality Standards
Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management.
