Job Purpose
Under supervision learn the following processes that supports Councils developmental objectives:
Responsible for all aspects of network communication (voice and data) and its implementation at
the enterprise.
Key Responsibility Areas
• Under supervision, provides networking and telecommunications support.
• Under supervision, installs hardware and software.
• Under Supervision, performs technical evaluations of hardware and software.
• Under Supervision provide a consultancy service to the Units.
• Under Supervision, maintains the network and telecommunications infrastructure for the
Municipality.

Essential Requirements
• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field or any
