Description
To maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment by delivering effective cleaning and housekeeping services across the site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas.
Clean offices, ablution facilities, change rooms and walkways.
Sweep, mop, scrub floors and remove waste.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, showers and locker rooms.
Wash windows, walls and other surfaces.
Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
Maintain gardens, lawns and surrounding areas.
Report unsafe conditions and maintenance requirements.
Always maintain good housekeeping.
Comply with all safety rules, site procedures and company standards.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 / or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
1–2 years’ cleaning experience in an industrial/mining environment (advantageous).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Must pass the mine’s criminal screening process.
