Job Description

Giesecke and Devrient Mobile Security is seeking a proactive Order Management Intern to join our team. As an Operations Intern, you will gain valuable experience by supporting order management and operational processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will provide you with hands-on exposure to operational workflows, order tracking, and coordination across teams to ensure timely and efficient execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn about operational excellence in a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

 

Support the sales team with placing internal orders.
Ensure all documentation in relation to the order is correct and filed according to the guidelines. .
Support the customer operations team with weekly tracking of the orders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Participate in weekly meetings and provide status updates.
Provide updates to the sales team on orders placed.
Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence and maintaining records.
Assist in compiling reports related to operational performance and delivery schedules.

 

Requirements

 

Recently graduated from a business, supply chain, or related program.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to have forward- thinking
Ability to provide potential improvements to processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interest in operations, logistics, or order management within a technology-driven environment.
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with team members.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to team success.
