Join Macsteel for a 12-month intensive internship within our SHEQ Department. The SHEQ Intern supports the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality department in implementing and maintaining SHEQ systems, standards, and compliance requirements. The role provides hands-on exposure to workplace safety, environmental management, and quality assurance processes within the organisation.
Minimum Requirements
BAdmin/ BCom / Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Science or Quality Management or related field.
Availability and commitment to complete a full year (12 months) of training – practical time.
Age 20 – 28.
Ability to communicate in English – speak, write, and read.
Basic knowledge of safety and environmental legislation is beneficial.
Computer literate – Proficiency in MS Office.
Problem Solving Skills.
Planning Skills.
Analytical Skills.
Organisational Skills.
Good time management.
Intern will receive a monthly stipend.
