About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Vehicles Sales Trainee to join our dynamic team in the East Rand. In this entry-level position, you will focus primarily on learning the intricacies of vehicle sales for a variety of franchises, developing your skills to build lasting customer relationships and drive sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
– Assist customers in understanding vehicle features and benefits to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
– Conduct thorough product demonstrations and facilitate test drives to showcase vehicles effectively.
– Support the sales team in preparing sales proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
– Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the different vehicle models and industry trends.
– Engage with customers through various channels, including in-person, phone, and digital platforms.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special offers and events to drive foot traffic to the dealership.
– Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
– Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Requirements
– A completed Matric certificate or equivalent.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
– A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to grow within vehicle sales.
– Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
– Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing role is an advantage, though not mandatory.
– Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office and CRM software being a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
– Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but not essential.
– A valid South African driver’s license.
– Knowledge of various vehicle brands and familiarity with dealership operations.
