About the Role
HWSETA is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and
experience

Qualifications
Development and Maintenance Officer to coordinate the development and maintenance of occupational
qualifications
and
skills
programmes, support QCTO-related functions, and coordinate External Integrated Summative Assessments (EISAs) nationally.
Key
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the development, review and maintenance of occupational
qualifications
and
skills
programmes.
- Facilitating the registration of
qualifications
and learnerships with relevant authorities.
- Coordinating qualification development projects and managing service providers.
- Ensuring assessment tools and EISA
requirements
are developed and aligned to QCTO standards.
- Coordinating the planning, implementation and quality assurance of EISAs nationally.
- Providing guidance, support and capacity-building initiatives to stakeholders regarding qualification development and QCTO requirements.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, including QCTO, DHET, service providers and industry representatives.
- Preparing reports, submissions, policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
- Monitoring operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Supporting policy development, process improvement and best-practice initiatives within the QDM function.
Minimum
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Health or Social Services, Human Resource Development (HRD), Training and Development, or a related field.
- Registration with a recognised professional or regulatory body will be an added advantage.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Own vehicle will be advantageous.
Experience
- 4–6 years'
experience
in an education, training and development environment, HRD, or related field.

Experience
in an ETQA and/or QCTO environment will be an added advantage.
