We are seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our Contaminated Site Management Internship Program. This one-year internship offers hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and the chance to contribute to meaningful environmental projects. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals, gain valuable skills, and make a difference in your community
Location: Kloof, Durban, South Africa
Remuneration: R8500 stipend
Internship Length: One year internship program
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fieldwork, data collection, and analysis to support environmental projects.
Assist in project planning, coordination, and implementation.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documents to communicate findings and recommendations.
Engage with stakeholders, partners, and community members to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.
Participate in educational workshops, training sessions, and networking events.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
Take initiative in pursuing personal and professional growth opportunities within the company.
Person Specification:
University/Tech University degree/diploma across Environmental Sciences or similar qualification preferred
Strong interest in environmental conservation, sustainability practices, and community engagement
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data analysis software is preferred
Previous experience or coursework related to environmental research, fieldwork, or project management is a plus
