Job Title: Information Security Intern

Sappi offers a one-year Information Security internship opportunity for recent graduates.

This program provides hands-on, practical experience in cybersecurity principles under the guidance of skilled mentors, supporting candidates transition smoothly into the professional world. 

Location: Rosebank

The main responsibilities of the job:
– Investigate, analyse and provide solutions to hardware and software technical problems.
– Assist in the implementation of computer equipment and upgrades.
– Provide service and maintenance of computers and network equipment.
– Assist and attend to IT service desk queries within defined service level standards.
 

The ideal candidate must have:
– Grade 12/Matric qualification.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 
– No prior experience required.
– Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams).
