Minimum Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 qualification or equivalent NQF level.
Proven experience in Retail or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector preferred.
Ability to perform accurate stock replenishment, stock counting, and removal of expired merchandise in line with company policies.
Strong customer service skills with a helpful attitude and ability to engage customers effectively.

Basic product knowledge to advise customers and maintain updated in-store product information.
Competency in following shop-keeping disciplines and maintaining stockroom and sales floor organization.
Capability to identify and report suspicious activities and manage shrinkage according to company procedures.
Effective communication skills with clear verbal and written abilities.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.

Flexibility to work variable shifts and demonstrate punctuality, hygiene, and adherence to dress code and attendance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers warmly and professionally.
Perform end-of-day stock replenishment accurately, maintaining proper stock rotation and removing expired or poor-quality merchandise.
Conduct stock counting procedures to ensure stock on hand levels are accurate and update in-store product information accordingly.
Maintain organized sales floor and stockroom areas, adhering to shop-keeping and Foods Supply Chain disciplines.
Ensure waste removal and proper ticketing of out-of-stock items, supporting store clean-up and preparation for deliveries.
Report any suspicious activities or suspicious individuals promptly to management or security to minimize stock shrinkage and fraud.
Adhere to all company policies including attendance, dress code, hygiene, and punctuality standards.

Work cooperatively within the team to meet store objectives, attending meetings and communicating effectively.
Apply basic product knowledge to assist customers and support promotional initiatives.
