A Trainee Yard Official will be required to undergo modular training, conduct and successfully complete the required modules as to qualify and certified as a Yard
Official.
Position Outputs1. Attend and Complete a theoretical Training Program within the required time frame
Attend and Complete a practical Training Program within the required time frame.
Develop competency to perform operations and operate equipment as assigned, and be accountable for jobs at end of training period.
Safely and efficiently accomplish work assignments and goals that are in line with the Training Program, company’s strategies and vision.
Maintain comprehensive records (portfolio of evidence) of all theoretical and practical training experience for use in progressing .
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Standard: GRADE 12.
Must successfully pass a (psychological screening) battery test.
Must successfully pass relevant to the job level medical test (including eyes and ears).
Computer Literacy.
Physically fit.
Must successfully complete and pass a theoretical as well as practical training as a Yard Official .
