Description
Taking of patient orders from the menu
Collecting of patient’s menus
Ensure patients receive meals and delivered timeously
Serving beverages to patients and visitors where necessary
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness of the satellite kitchen
Ordering and collecting of ward free issues
Daily stocktaking of ward crockery and cutlery.
Keeping water carafes filled with fresh water.
Patient satisfaction
Serving the correct meals to patients
Ensure cupboards and equipment in satellite kitchens are cleaned regularly
Requirements
Matric compulsory
Previous experience in a hospital / hospitality environment advantageous
Professional and well-groomed
A friendly disposition, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to cope well under pressure
Ability to work shifts
