Overview The Clerk General is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and customer service support to the bakery. This includes handling paperwork, maintaining records, assisting with stock control, processing orders, and supporting daily operations while ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Receive and process customer orders. Prepare invoices, receipts, and delivery notes. Maintain accurate sales, inventory, and financial records. Capture and update data in the bakery's record-keeping system. Answer telephone calls and respond to customer inquiries. File documents and maintain organized office records.

Assist with stock receiving, stock counts, and inventory control. Coordinate with production and delivery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time. Monitor office and bakery supplies and place replenishment requests when necessary. Handle cash or point-of-sale transactions where required. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Ensure compliance with

company
policies and food safety documentation requirements. Perform other administrative

duties
as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. Certificate or diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage. Previous administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a bakery, retail, or food production environment.
